Truth of Life (Verse) 

 

I’m glad the dawn always seems promising

No matter how tormenting the night had been

 

 

I am amazed at the perplexity of life

Inept to state the truth and yet impossible to lie

 

 

I stand forlorn in the galaxy of mortals

Searching for the creature, they portrayed as me

 

 

Have I transformed or am I unable to identify myself?

Are they familiar with a distinct face of mine?

 

 

Do they really know me? Or should I trust own instincts?

Who determines the veracity of these proclamations?

 

 

Who decides the truth of life?

Does your truth wear the same robe as mine?

 

 

This truth, which I’ve been chasing for a lifetime

Will I ever explore, its true dimensions?

 

 

Why do these questions always leave me in a quandary?

Will there ever be any resolution to my deliberations?
