This is the painting of the First Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji. I am an ardent follower of Guru Nanak Dev ji and His teachings. When I first started doing art, I had a desire of being able to paint His divine face and I feel He wanted to build my trust in my skill through this painting. Even today, I do not know how I created this spiritual aura, peace, serenity and divinity in His face. I believe He held my hand while I created this artwork and I am truly grateful to Almighty for this eternal blessing! This is done in oil colors. The handwritten excerpt in Gurmukhi is the very first verse written in the Holy book Guru Granth Sahib.
