Quadrille: I Stand Liberated

An array of thoughts

flooded my mind

when I cared to ascertain

the purpose of my life

I crunched some beliefs

I munched some feelings

focusing on my dreams

envisioning my future

I dusted off the qualms

that rusted my mind

I stand liberated!

 

De hosted Quadrille Monday at dVerse this week. He prompted to us write a quadrille which must include the word crunch or crunched or crunching.

    Beautiful.. if we can understand our being we are liberated.. though its difficult but not impossible..

    Loved that “crunched” and “munched” – such unusual words in this usage, which is liberating in and of itself.

    I liked the description of qualms rusting the mind and the crunching of beliefs and munching of feelings.
