Opposites are a rule of nature. For every balck, there’s a white that exists in nature. Use the power of opposite words to write a poem today. You may use any pairs of opposites as you wish to make your poem meaningful.
Poem: Be my contrary
I want you to complement me
Be patient when I’m angry
Be the light when I’m enveloped in darkness
Help me ascend when I fall into nothingness
Be calmness in my chaos
Gentle when my days are hard
Be my safe haven in adversity
Loving me when I’m myself loathing
Be the star of my starless night
Tranquility amidst my fright
I’m an oasis in ocean of your heart
Be the spark of my candle light
I want you to complete me
Make me whole when I’m broken into bits
I want you to understand my silence
When I’m unable to speak
I want us to grow together
Be smile to each other’s frown
I want you by my side
Even when the world brings me down
I need to walk my road
You have to traverse your path
Let’s be each other’s confidante
While our identities we strive to carve
