Limerick: Trust

by | Aug 29, 2016 | Poetry | 9 comments

This post is in response to Limerick Challenge Week 35, hosted by Mind and Life matters.

This week’s prompt is “trust”, which must be used in first, second or fifth line.

Here’s my take on it:

The race of life we ought to run

It might be hazy, but soon it’ll be sun

For time and fate

Never take a bait

Trust yourself, you are less than none.
