NaPoWriMo Day 24:

I’m following the prompt of ArtoonsInn today that requires us to write a poem on the theme “Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.”

Here’s my take on it:

Poem Title: The bumpy road

The road is rough, I know my dear

The path is uneven, we all can see

Fear envelops each element, each being

Just hang in my dear, miracles are waiting

–

Trees are barren, dried leaves crushing

Desolate, rugged, the path may seem

Challenges substantial, hope’s fading,

Just hang in my dear, miracles are waiting

–

A test of your mettle, a check of your diligence

A way to strengthen your cache of grit

This road shall transform your soul, your being,

Just hang in my dear, miracles are waiting

–

The route’s meticulously planned

The itinerary’s comprehensive,

Your footprints en route destined,

Just hang in my dear, miracles are waiting

–
