Poem: Perseverance

by | Feb 19, 2018 | Poetry | 12 comments

Life may not thrive expectedly,

So what! Reckon it as learning

Road may not be even,

So what! Learn from pitfalls

It may not always be sunny,

Aha! Rejoice the rain and stars

Friends may not always welcome you,

Aha! Revere the silence and solitude

Dreams may take time to realize,

Time to cultivate little patience

Goals might seem distant,

Time to refine your skills and talent

Mind may not always be quiet,

Shouldn’t you take pride in your wisdom?

Heart may not always be at peace,

Shouldn’t you treasure your prized emotions?

Opportunities may have vanished,

Let’s learn to invent some solutions

It doesn’t pay to complain

Let’s learn to nurture some patience!
