Poem: Please Don’t Judge Me!

I enjoy some tasks

But I detest others too

I can work all day

But I respite some days too

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I like to be modest

But I am sloppy too

I prefer to eat healthy

But I relish junk too

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I love family time

But I need “Me” time too

I adore my family

But I love myself too

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I care to interact

But I respect my privacy too

I have good friends

But I cherry-pick them too

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I am a rational being

But I can be poignant too

I wish to keep all happy

But I may not be able to

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I seek your opinion

But I’m not myself a fool

I assess all prospects

But don’t you dare ridicule

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I am resilient as wind

But pliant as water too

I need friends by my side

But I can manage unaided too

I value your concern

But please don’t judge me!

I wouldn’t judge you- except for the quality of this poem.

I know. We always encounter someone who is meddling with our life..uninvited 😉 Thanks Deepika!
