Poem: Gratitude Infinite
Dear God
An unwavering trust,
I have in Your plan
Since the day I’ve been blessed with this precious life,
You’ve walked by my side and held my hand
Guiding me gently,
You exonerated my flaws and fallacies
Sheltering me in love and care,
You trusted me when I failed in my eyes
You benevolently expelled my qualms and fears,
Gently transforming those into strengths I should bear
Fragmented and shattered, I felt at times
You collected my bits and helped me beautify
You understand my silence, my cries, and my woes
Your kind heart forgives me, teaching me to let go
I may have drifted and meandered from my path
But Your words of wisdom enlightened my path
I have been wandering the world in search of my purpose
Now I know the road to divinity lies within myself
Imperfect, impure, incomplete, I am
Pure, whole and holy, Dear God, You are
Grateful I am, for Your blessings infinite
I can’t thank You enough in this one lifetime!
