Abhishek’s poetry is steeped in the depth and warmth of love, like a lullaby.
The collection of 47 poems reveals, in a most splendid and eloquent manner, the loving and precious moments of knowing that special someone and falling in love. Through his poetry, the poet has explored the depths of silence, love, heartbreak and relationships.
The book unfolds like a romantic love story–the one that touches every heart and reminds readers of their own (lost/ won), leaving them asking for more.
The book appears to be autobiographical, and the way the poet has expressed his emotions about how her beloved laughed, talked, danced, paused, sipped her coffee, lit her cigarette, blinked her eyes, relished her chocolate, called out his name, and leaned on his shoulder makes the reader fall in love with the character.
The poet has presented the heartbreak as so painful with his expression that his feelings of longing, loneliness, and distraught are evident in his verses.
