Poem: Rubrics of Time

The thread of life weaves tapestry–

One, two, maybe many, across multi-dimensional timelines

Eternal, ephemeral, no beginning, no end,

The concept of time eludes my curious mind

Past, present, future–

Disintegrated yet a congregation

A step forward into emptiness,

Moment by moment

Bereft of impurities and imperfections of existence,

A breach between existence and non-existence

A chase unattainable,

Yet every moment surmountable

Liberates every moment,

Breaking the shackles of previous moment

Irreversible, imminent, inescapable,

Yet slips away like grains of gravel

Transformative, reprimanding, unforgiving,

Yet offering opportunities to evolve and strive

Flows like a stream, infinite as sky

Incomprehensible, everchanging, elusive time

Physical existence– limited, defined,

Existence of soul– autonomous of time

Transformation of existence– physical or spiritual,

A game manipulated by wheel of time!
