Poem: Dare to dream
In your arms, I reclaim my world
In your embrace, I feel safe
In your words, I find myself
But you are a dream…
And this dream is a mirage
I keep climbing the stairs of success
A step forward towards my purpose
Happiness, I find in what I do
Passion drives my way through
This dream is my motivation
Relationships that value and thrive on trust
Understanding, at the root of affiliation
Flourishing together sans expectation
No material influence in kinship of love
This dream is an illusion
I wander the realm in search of self
I question, I ponder, I comprehend, I ruminate
I see myself in varied hues
In a bid to feel one with the Universe
This dream is my refuge
Belief in self and trust in Universe
I fill my life with memorabilia
Wisdom and hope, walk me to my goal
I progress a little, but gratified I am
This dream is my path – my way forward
